2018 Light Up! Taoyuan Smart City was organized on August 31, 2018 at Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport. Streetlights are the most widely installed infrastructure seen on road. Combined with multiple sensors and backend management platform, streetlights can serve as the basis for smart city practice.
Qingpu smart streetlight demonstration site has replaced the 1,801 streetlights throughout the district, and combines with IoT technology to establish a venue for makers to experiment in, so as to create a 4-win scenario for the industry, the government, academia, and research, which is the first step for Taoyuan to build a smart city.
In the future development of Aerotropolis Project, various aspects of smart city will be taken into the planning, and smart streetlight is one of them. We participated in the event and exhibition to exhibit the Project content and the applications of smart city technology, while engaging exchanges with suppliers of smart streetlight and pertaining technologies.
