Establishing the Headquarters of Azure Shine International Inc. Mayor Cheng: Asia Silicon Valley Project shall drive new technological innovation, employment, and growth in income
While attending the “Opening Ceremony of the Azure Shine International Inc. Headquarters” on June 19th, Taoyuan City Mayor Cheng Wen-Tsan mentioned that the Asia Silicon Valley Project initiated by the central government in Taoyuan would drive technological innovation, increase employment opportunities, and propel growth of income for Taiwan. All businesses and fellow citizens are encouraged to work hard for Taoyuan as well as Taiwan.
The Azure Shine Headquarters covers an area of over 25,124 square meters and cost more than NT$ 1 billion to build. The design of whole building is adopting energy saving and carbon reduction technology that make it a typical green architecture. Azure Shine focuses on research, development, and innovation. It is a case of successful overseas marketing of Taiwanese products, with its goods sold to over 80 countries around the world.
The Azure Shine Headquarters is also located along Provincial Highway No.1, providing great convenience in transportation. The Headquarters is also located close to Taoyuan General Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW). As part of the underground conversion program for the railway line, Yongfeng Station will be established at Yongfeng Road intersection to greatly improve the transportation link between Taoyuan and Zhongli. Linking the 2 urban areas will also improve the integrity of the Taoyuan metropolis. The Taoyuan City Government will do whatever it can to ensure that underground conversion proposals would be able to pass reviews carried out by the central government.
