Great FUN of Citizen Card, Welcome to Download Citizen Card APP and Enjoy Convenience of E-life, Mayor Said
Mayor of Taoyaun city Cheng Wen-Tsan has presented at the press conference of the event “Citizen Card’s Great FUN Raffles a Tour of Thailand” on January 19th, a series of activities promoting “Taoyuan Citizen Card APP.” The Card offers services or functions including the Latest Municipal News Push, Arts Performances Information, Library Card, Parking Payment, Fees and Fines Payment, Personal Exercise record Inquiry, among others. The city government has launched a series of promotions to encourage city residents to download and use the “Taoyuan Citizen Card APP,” and you have an opportunity to win a flight ticket coupon or an accommodation coupon for 7 days round-trip from Taipei to Bangkok. The government welcomes you to download the APP and start to enjoy the convenience of a smart life.
Mayor Cheng said, “The number of Citizen Card issued since last September has exceeded 570,000. In order to enable citizens to instantly access the latest information about municipal services, the city government has launched an exclusive APP for the Citizen Card to allow the city residents to have not only a card but also the realization of a smart life.”
He has also mentioned that so long as a Taoyuan citizen applied for a Taoyuan Citizen Card, downloaded a “Taoyuan Citizen Card APP,” and input the Citizen Card number, citizens can use a smart phone to enjoy every service provided by the Card, including the Latest Municipal News Push, discount information from more than 600 shops and 1,200 shopping places. The Card also provides information about art exhibition, book borrowing records, book reservation, parking payment, making payments of 373 items of fines, online application progress, progress inquiry of reporting on the appearance of the city, personal exercise record, exclusive fitness programs, sport activities, and so on. The Card app is able to actively receive every personalizes information pushed by the city government, such as maternity benefits, parental benefits, elderly health care cost subsidies, and youth employment.
